Research

At Halliday LLC it is important to us that our designs center on the user’s needs. Where possible, we use observation and conduct structured informal discussions with users to uncover what is missing in existing products. We combine this insight with research on existing patents, material properties, manufacturing trends along with other key industry drivers to develop design criteria that we must meet for our invention to be considered a success.

Once we have developed a new concept, we build cost effective prototypes to show design intent and validate the overall design. This helps us gain the critical feedback that we need from other engineers, our clients and those using the product. This feedback is used to iterate improvements to the original design.
